Victoria Slater Awarded Scholarship from Miami University's Journalism Program

At Miami University's annual journalism program awards, Columbus resident Victoria Slater, a sophomore journalism and English creative writing major was awarded the Lawler-Galeese Scholarship on Thursday, May 2.

The Lawler-Galeese Scholarship is awarded to two students who demonstrate interest and skill in print journalism.

Slater was also awarded the Reid-Heckler-Gambrell Scholarship to support her study abroad program in Kosovo this summer.
