Terrace PArk, Ohio, resident Mark Castator receives master's degree from Miami University through Project Dragonfly

In mid-May 2015, Terrace PArk, Ohio, resident Mark Castator graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Biology from Miami University through Project Dragonfly .

Since joining the master's program in 2011, Castator has explored conservation and education Belize, Baja and Amazon, while also conducting projects that have made a difference in the Terrace PArk area.

The Global Field Program (GFP) from Miami University's Project Dragonfly brings together master's degree candidates, scientists, educators and community leaders at key conservation sites across the globe for firsthand experience with inquiry-driven education, environmental stewardship and global understanding.

Project Dragonfly reaches millions of people each year through inquiry-driven learning media, public exhibits and graduate programs worldwide. Since 2004 Dragonfly and its international partner institutions have engaged more than 1,850 people in firsthand education and conservation research in communities and zoos throughout the country and at critical field sites in Africa, Australia, Asia and the Americas. Dragonfly is based in the department of biology at Miami University, a state university in Oxford, Ohio. Miami was established in 1809 and is listed as one of the eight original Public Ivies.
