Shannon Stearns Awarded Degree from Miami University

Shannon Stearns of Orland Hills (60487) was among more than 3,000 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Yager Stadium.

Stearns received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, majoring in Special Education Cum Laude .

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio. The university is consistently ranked by U.S. News and World Report for its commitment to undergraduate teaching and is the number one college town according to Forbes.
