Rachel Reeves Awarded Freeman-ASIA Scholarship

Miami University student Rachel Reeves has been awarded a scholarship from Freeman-ASIA. She's spending spring semester at USAC Chinese Language and Culture Program in Chengdu, China.

The Freeman-ASIA is a program administered by the Institute for International Education and funded by the Freeman Foundation to increase the number of undergraduate students studying abroad in Asia.

Reeves is earning a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Diplomacy and Global Politics.

With 49% of Miami undergraduate students studying abroad for credit by the time they graduate, Miami is ranked 1st among public doctoral institutions nationwide for students studying abroad.
