Peter Siegfried receives physics award from Miami University

Peter Siegfried, an engineering physics major, from Granville, Ohio 43023 received the George and Carolyn Arfken Scholarship from Miami University's physics department.

Miami's physics department held its annual Spring Awards Ceremony Wednesday, April 27. Award presentations included over $44 thousand in scholarship announcements, department awards and recognition for outstanding research and teaching. Two new scholarships were awarded for the first time and another new scholarship was announced by Miami Physics alumnus, Russell Starkey, who set up the scholarship for incoming Physics majors.
