Miami University Student Erin Graves Awarded Ohio EPA Environmental Scholarship

Miami University student Erin Graves was a recipient of this year's Ohio EPA Environmental Scholarship.

The Ohio EPA awarded 12 scholarships to environmental science and engineering students attending Ohio's colleges and universities.

"These scholarships will allow some very accomplished students to complete their degrees and join the ranks of scientists dedicated to understanding and enhancing the environment," said Craig W. Butler, Ohio EPA director.

Graves, from Bowling Green, is earning a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology, Environmental Science.

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio. The university is consistently ranked by U.S. News and World Report for its commitment to undergraduate teaching and is the number one college town according to Forbes.
