Miami University Student-Athlete Shannon Stearns Named Academic All-Ohio

Miami University student-athlete Shannon Stearns was named Academic All-Ohio for her excellence on the field and in the classroom. Stearns is a member of the Miami RedHawks women's soccer team.

The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association names members to teams based on a student's GPA and her performance in the sport.

Stearns, from Orland Hills, is earning a Bachelor of Science majoring in Special Education.
