Miami University Student-Athlete Megan Wurts Earns All-MAC Honor

Miami University student-athlete Megan Wurts has earned Mid-American Conference honors.

Wurts, from Olathe, was named 2017 Softball Second Team All-MAC. She is earning a B.S. in Kinesiology & Health majoring in Public Health.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2016 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.21, the highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, nearly 40 percent (189 of 490) of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and 38 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA.
