Miami University Student-Athlete Carla Romagosa Earns Weekly MAC Honor

Miami University student-athlete Carla Romagosa was named Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Romagosa is a member of the Miami University RedHawks women's field hockey team.

Romagosa is earning a Bachelor of Art majoring in Economics AND Strategic Communication.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2015 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.313, the highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, 70 percent (339 of 482) of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and 26 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA.

Of the 2014 senior class, 100% of Miami's student-athletes were employed within one year of graduation.
