Miami University Student Angela Evans Receives Hispanic Scholarship Award

Miami University student Angela Evans has received the Hispanic Scholarship Award presented at the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA awards gala.

The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually at the gala, which honors the achievements of Hispanic individuals and businesses.

Evans, from Cincinnati, is earning a Bachelor of Art majoring in Architecture.

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio. The university is consistently ranked by U.S. News and World Report for its commitment to undergraduate teaching and is the number one college town according to Forbes.

Miami University offers more than 120 degree programs in humanities, science, engineering, business, education and fine arts.
