Miami University RedHawk Ryan Larkin Named NCHC Freshman of the Week

Miami University RedHawk Ryan Larkin was named the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) freshman of the week on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016. This is the second time this season he has nabbed an NCHC weekly award.

Larkin, from Clarkston (48348), is earning a Bachelor of Science majoring in Sports Leadership & Management.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2016 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.21, the highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, nearly 40 percent (189 of 490) of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and 38 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA.
