Miami University RedHawk Amelia Strickler Advances to NCAA Outdoor Championships

Miami University RedHawk Amelia Strickler has advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Historic Hayward Field June 7-10.

Strickler is earning a Bachelor of Arts.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2017 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.31, the second highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, nearly 67 percent of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and 40 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA.

Strickler is competing in the shot put.
