Miami University RedHawk Alexus Jimson-Miller Qualifies for NCAA Preliminary

Miami University RedHawk Alexus Jimson-Miller is one of nine student-athletes to qualify for the NCAA Preliminary.

A three-day meet, this year's NCAA East Region Preliminary is held in Lexington at the University of Kentucky. Jimson-Miller is in the 100m hurdles competition.

Jimson-Miller is earning a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology & Health majoring in Health Promotion.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2017 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.31, the second highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, nearly 67 percent of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and 40 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA.
