Miami Student Catherine Hanley Spends Summer Abroad

Miami University student Catherine Hanley spent the summer 2017 semester in Italy as part of a study abroad group.

Hanley, from Oxford (45056) is majoring in East Asian Languages & Culture.

With 49% of Miami undergraduate students studying abroad for credit by the time they graduate, Miami is ranked 1st among public doctoral institutions nationwide for students studying abroad.

Including students on internships, non-credit and Service-Learning programs, international students who study in a third country, and all other overseas programs completed by graduate and undergraduate students, 57% of Miami students study abroad.

In addition to Miami's Luxembourg campus, Miami students can study abroad in over 90 locations around the world. Miami offers more than 350 co-sponsored study abroad programs that permit scholarship transfer.
