Meghan Shaughnessy Awarded Freeman-ASIA Scholarship

Miami University student Meghan Shaughnessy has been awarded a scholarship from Freeman-ASIA. She's spending spring semester at Doshisha University in Japan.

The Freeman-ASIA is a program administered by the Institute for International Education and funded by the Freeman Foundation to increase the number of undergraduate students studying abroad in Asia.

Shaughnessy is earning a Bachelor of Science majoring in Undeclared - Business.

With 49% of Miami undergraduate students studying abroad for credit by the time they graduate, Miami is ranked 1st among public doctoral institutions nationwide for students studying abroad.
