Liza Torrence Awarded Degree from Miami University

Liza Torrence of Beaver was among more than 3,000 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Yager Stadium.

Torrence received a Bachelor of Science in Art degree, majoring in Art Education Summa Cum Laude

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio. The university is consistently ranked by U.S. News and World Report for its commitment to undergraduate teaching and is the number one college town according to Forbes.
