Kaya Beery from Miami University's Project Dragonfly publishes original work

Brooklyn, N.Y., resident Kaya Beery from Miami University's Project Dragonfly has published an original article titled "How Can I Support My Child's Connection to Nature?" in My Metro Parents, a resource that provides relevant information to help local parents in the greater New York City metro region make better decisions.

In the article Beery offers tips on how to raise a nature lover.

Beery, the discovery guide coordinator at Bronx Zoo, is a graduate of Miami University through Project Dragonfly's Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP). As a student in the AIP, Beery took courses on the web from Miami University while also participating in experiential learning and field study at Wildlife Conservation Society.

The AIP master's degree is a web-based program offered by Miami University with experiential learning and community engagement opportunities at affiliated AIP Master Institutions in Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, San Diego and Seattle.
