Jun Yu Picks Miami University

Local resident Jun Yu is one of 175 California high school students who has chosen to study at Miami University in southwest Ohio.

Recently ranked by U.S. News and World Report for its "unusually strong commitment" to teaching, Miami offers degrees in more than 120 areas of study.

Miami students have nearly endless opportunities to study abroad, research and pursue hundreds of co-curricular activities.

Foster City student Yu helped Miami once again welcome the most academically accomplished incoming class in the university's 209-year history.

Yu is a Senior, earning a Bachelor of Arts, B.S. in Education majoring in Mathematics, Integrated Mathematics Edu.
