Joseph Stewart Represents Miami University RedHawks at NCAA Prelims

Joseph Stewart was one of eight Miami University students to represent the RedHawks track and field team at the NCAA East Region Preliminary meet.

The event was held in Jacksonville in May.

Stewart is earning a Bachelor of Science in Business majoring in Finance.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2016 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.21, the highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, nearly 40 percent (189 of 490) of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and 38 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA. Of the 2014 senior class, 100% of Miami's student-athletes were employed within one year of graduation.
