Joseph Stewart Named Academic All-District for Miami University RedHawks

Joseph Stewart was voted Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Stewart is a member of the Miami University RedHawks track and field team.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2016 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.21, the highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, nearly 40 percent (189 of 490) of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and 38 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA.

Stewart is earning a Bachelor of Science in Business majoring in Finance.
