Jose Jacobo Named Summer Leader at Miami University

Miami University student Jose Jacobo has been named a Student Orientation Undergraduate Leader (SOUL) for the summer.

Jacobo in one of 24 students named to this year's SOUL staff.

The SOULs are "informed, resourceful guides who assist new students and families throughout Miami's summer orientation program."

As a SOUL, Jacobo will lead small groups of incoming first-year students and serve as an ambassador to welcome them and their families to Miami.

Jacobo is from Cleveland, majoring in Psychology.

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio. The university is consistently ranked by U.S. News and World Report for its commitment to undergraduate teaching and is the number one college town according to Forbes.
