Johniann Wahl Named MAC East Player of the Week

Miami University student-athlete Johniann Wahl was named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) East Player of the Week (04/16/2017). Wahl is a member of the Miami University RedHawks softball team.

Wahl is earning a Bachelor of Arts majoring in University Studies. It was the first weekly MAC award of her career.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2016 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.21, the highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, nearly 40 percent (189 of 490) of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and 38 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA.
