Janelle Ghanem Part of Miami University's Nationally Ranked Recruiting Class

Miami University RedHawk Janelle Ghanem is a member of the nationally ranked tennis program.

The Tennis Recruiting Network has announced that the Miami University tennis program's 2017 recruiting class is ranked 12th among mid-major programs and is the only school from the Mid-American Conference ranked in the top 25.

The rankings are based solely on incoming first-year students.

Ghanem is earning a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2017 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.31, the second highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, nearly 67 percent of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and 40 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA.
