2014 May 5

Idaho Falls, Idaho (83402) resident Holly Weber will graduate with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in the biological sciences from Miami University in May 2014, as a member of the most recent class of graduates from the Advanced Inquiry Program.

Since joining the master's program in 2011, Hill has explored conservation and education in Belize, while also conducting projects that have made a difference in the Idaho Falls area. Weber works as a teacher at an elementary school.

The Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP), co-offered by Miami University's Project Dragonfly and Woodland Park Zoo, is a groundbreaking graduate degree focused on inquiry-driven learning and social change. Through work on the web and at the zoo, AIP master's students use inquiry not only as a tool for integrated learning but also as a powerful agent for student achievement, public engagement and ecological stewardship.

Dragonfly's AIP partner institutions include the Chicago Zoological Society-Brookfield Zoo, Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Denver Zoo, Phoenix Zoo, San Diego Zoo Global, Wildlife Conservation Society/Bronx Zoo and Woodland Park Zoo (Seattle).

Project Dragonfly reaches millions of people each year through inquiry-driven learning media, public exhibits and graduate programs worldwide. Dragonfly is based in the Department of Biology at Miami University, a state university in Oxford, Ohio. Miami was established in 1809 and is listed as one of the eight original Public Ivies.
