Germantown, Ohio resident Amanda Dalton to study in Kenya

Germantown, Ohio (45327) resident Amanda Dalton, a master's student in the Global Field Program (GFP) from Miami University's Project Dragonfly, will travel to Kenya in summer 2014 to study wildlife and people in integrated landscapes.

As a student in the master's program, Dalton has also traveled to Belize to study approaches to environmental stewardship. Dalton is a natural resources specialist at Hueston Woods State Park (Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources).

Since the program began 10 years ago, Earth Expeditions graduate courses from Miami University's Project Dragonfly have engaged more than 1,500 people in firsthand educational and scientific research at critical conservation field sites in Africa, Australia, Asia and the Americas.
