Miami University student Eric Lee has been recognized by the Goldwater Foundation Scholarship Program for his undergraduate research efforts.
The prestigious scholarship is the premier undergraduate award of its type in the fields of mathematics, natural science and engineering.
Lee is a Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering major from Hamilton.
Nationwide, faculty nominated 1,206 students for the one- and two-year scholarships, worth up to a maximum of $7,500 per year.
