David Coulter from Miami University's Project Dragonfly publishes original work

Oak Park, Ill., resident David Coulter from Miami University's Project Dragonfly has published an original article titled "Native Landscaping Along the Front Forty: Ideas for enhancing the interface between the road, your home site, and the woods." The article appears in The Voice for Illinois Forests, a quarterly newsletter published by the Illinois Forestry Association.

In the article Coulter shares design ideas from the field of agroforestry.

Coulter, owner of Osage Inc, is a graduate of Miami University through Project Dragonfly's Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP). As a student in the AIP, Coulter took courses on the web from Miami University while also participating in experiential learning and field study at Chicago Zoological Society's Brookfield Zoo.

The AIP master's degree combines web courses with experiential learning and community engagement opportunities at affiliated AIP Master Institutions in Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, New York, San Diego and Seattle.
