Dave Coulter from Miami University's Project Dragonfly publishes original work

Oak Park, Ill., resident Dave Coulter from Miami University's Project Dragonfly has published an original article titled "More than Marginal Interest - Adapting Hedgerows for Modern Landscapes" in Planet Drum Pulse, a newsletter about bioregional sustainability, education and culture.

In the article Coulter shares his findings after sampling insect and bird populations in hedgerow settings

Coulter, the owner of Osage Inc, is a graduate of Miami University through Project Dragonfly's Advanced Inquiry Program. As a student in the AIP, Coulter took courses on the web from Miami University while also participating in experiential learning and field study at Chicago Zoological Society's Brookfield Zoo.

The AIP master's degree is a web-based program offered by Miami University with groundbreaking experiential learning and community engagement opportunities at affiliated AIP Master Institutions in in Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, San Diego and Seattle
