Conservation leader Molly Smith finishing master's studies

Lakewood, Colo., resident Molly Smith has been applying the tools of science, education and conservation to become a leader in the conservation community. In mid-December 2017, Smith is expected to conclude her master's course of study with a Master of Arts (MA) in Biology from Miami University through Project Dragonfly.

Since joining the Global Field Program (GFP) master's in 2015, Smith has traveled to Belize, Namibia and Galapagos and conducted projects that have made a difference in the Lakewood area.

Smith works as an associate accountant at Denver Department of Human Services.

The GFP master's degree and Earth Expeditions courses are designed for educators and other professionals from all disciplines and settings interested in making a difference in human and ecological communities.
