Conservation leader Danielle LaChance finishing master's studies

Stratford, Conn., resident Danielle LaChance has been applying the tools of science, education and conservation to become a leader in the conservation community. In mid-December 2017, LaChance is expected to conclude her master's course of study with a Master of Arts (MA) in Biology from Miami University through Project Dragonfly.

Since joining the Global Field Program (GFP) master's in 2015, LaChance has traveled to Baja, Borneo and Belize and conducted projects that have made a difference in the Stratford area.

LaChance works as a STEM specialist in environmental education at Girl Scouts of Connecticut.

The GFP master's degree and Earth Expeditions courses are designed for educators and other professionals from all disciplines and settings interested in making a difference in human and ecological communities.
