Conservation leader Aimee Cleary finishing master's studies

Jakarta, Indonesia, resident Aimee Cleary has been applying the tools of science, education and conservation to become a leader in the conservation community. In mid-December 2017, Cleary is expected to conclude her master's course of study with a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree in the Biological Sciences from Miami University through Project Dragonfly.

Since joining the Global Field Program (GFP) master's in 2014, Cleary has traveled to Baja, Costa Rica and Galapagos and conducted projects that have made a difference in her hometown.

Cleary works as a science teacher at Jakarta Intercultural School.

The GFP master's degree and Earth Expeditions courses are designed for educators and other professionals from all disciplines and settings interested in making a difference in human and ecological communities.
