Connor Moriarty Awarded Mark of Excellence

Connor Moriarty was one of 15 Miami University students recently recognized at the annual Mark of Excellence competition of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ).

Students in SPJ's Region 4, which includes Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia and part of Pennsylvania, submitted 405 entries in the 2016 MOE competition. Of them, 49 were selected as winners and 80 were picked as finalists.

Moriarty is earning a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Journalism, Comparative Media Studies.
