Avnika Bali recognized by The Goldwater Foundation Scholarship Program

Miami University student Avnika Bali has been recognized by the Goldwater Foundation Scholarship Program for her undergraduate research efforts. She was named a Goldwater Honorable Mention.

The prestigious scholarship is the premier undergraduate award of its type in the fields of mathematics, natural science and engineering.

Bali is a Biochemistry major from Oxford.

Nationwide, faculty nominated 1,286 students for the one- and two-year scholarships, worth up to a maximum of $7,500 per year.

Bali is one of 14 students at an Ohio public university to be honored by the Goldwater Foundation Scholarship Program.
