Avnika Bali Named Goldwater Scholar Honorable Mention

Miami University student Avnika Bali has received a Goldwater Scholarship Honorable Mention for her undergraduate research efforts.
The prestigious scholarship is the premier undergraduate award of its type in the fields of mathematics, natural science and engineering.
Nationwide, faculty nominated 1,150 students for the one- and two-year scholarships, worth up to a maximum of $7,500 per year.
Bali is one of four Miami University students honored by the Goldwater Foundation Scholarship Program.
Bali, from Oxford, is earning a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry.
