Amy Thompson from Miami University's Project Dragonfly publishes original work

Goshen, Ohio, resident Amy Thompson from Miami University's Project Dragonfly has published an original article titled "Coquerel's Sifaka: Parental Behaviors as Observed in First-Time Parents" in Animal Keepers' Forum.

In the article, Thompson described how she observed parental behaviors of lemurs. Animal Keepers' Forum is the American Association of Zoo Keepers' publication dedicated to professional animal care.

Thompson, a vivarium supervisor at Ethicon, is a graduate of Miami University through Project Dragonfly's Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP). As a student in the AIP, Thompson took courses on the web from Miami University while also participating in on-site learning at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.

The AIP master's degree is a web-based program offered by Miami University with groundbreaking experiential learning and community engagement opportunities on-site at affiliated AIP Master Institutions in Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, New York, Phoenix, San Diego and Seattle.
