Alexus Jimson-Miller Represents Miami University RedHawks at NCAA Prelims

Alexus Jimson-Miller was one of eight Miami University students to represent the RedHawks track and field team at the NCAA East Region Preliminary meet.

The event was held in Jacksonville in May.

Jimson-Miller is earning a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology & Health majoring in Health Promotion.

Miami University student-athletes finished the spring 2016 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.21, the highest GPA ever for a single semester. Overall, nearly 40 percent (189 of 490) of the RedHawks finished with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and 38 of those student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA. Of the 2014 senior class, 100% of Miami's student-athletes were employed within one year of graduation.
